The Appeal and Influence of Quora Upvotes

Quora isn’t like any other social network on the web right now. The reason being that in the conventional sense at least, it isn’t technically a social network at all. Instead, it’s a Q&A platform, designed to provide millions of people from all over the world with quick and easy access to information on just about anything.
